Relax…

Recently we’ve talked about the importance of managing our state and in that conversation, we’ve mentioned the importance of posture in warding off depression and sadness, but we did leave one stone unturned in not discussing the importance of physical relaxation in relieving stress and we thought this might be an appropriate topic in the same context. If we want to manage our state better, and we go through the process of not letting frustrations get to us and also practice forgiveness and blessing to release anger and hostility, we should also be on the lookout for a sign that we haven’t completely let go of a negative thought if we are in turn converting these things to actual physical stress in tightness or repetitive movements of the body or head.

What we’re saying here is we might have told ourselves we are no longer bothered or angered, but because we may have converted the thought to a physical manifestation we may just not realize we’re still gripped by something like that, but in this different form. Take note of any tightness of the jaw, for instance. Tension may also be expressed by jittery movements such as rapid foot and leg movements. Tightness in the chest, stomach, or even such places as hands and feet can be an indicator.

When we truly let go of a frustration or we completely forgive, part of this process should be a feeling of physical calm washing over the body and head, a relaxed and poised presentation of our physical form. This actually may take some practice and is something we’ll get better at over time if we do it. What will happen eventually is that the body will be expressing the same level of mental belief that we’re past the focus on the negative thing and once again calmly contemplating positive things, as if we were a river gently flowing on a tranquil day.

Now we realize we keep talking about the importance of changing ourselves completely and in ways that what most people perceive themselves able or ready to accomplish but the good news is we don’t have to reach this destination fully in order to see The Law of Attraction to begin working in our favor. The response of the law to the changes we make will be in proportion to percentage and quality of our dominant thoughts but will nonetheless happen without us having to search them out, for the response will present itself in the form of tangible results. When we see it happen, we should take note that we’re on the right track and continue with our self-improvement program. Just relax. Let go. Take it easy, and as you do focus on love, joy, happiness, and a giddy but calm sense of excited wonder and awe. Feel the love flow in you, through you, and from you as if you were that tranquil river on a calm and peaceful day.
