The Answer You’re Looking For
At times, all of us face difficult problems, situations where we don’t know what to do, or challenges presented by an opportunity that we’re unsure of what might be the best way to go. Other times we long for an invention of some sort which can do something we need to be done that might be difficult or time consuming. Maybe our questions are relationship-based and we’re either searching for that perfect someone, or we just need to find a way to improve the relationship we’re in. All of these quests have something in common, as diverse as this list is: The answers can be found, are available to us should we seek them, and we need to look no further than within ourselves to find them.
There are two things we can do to find the answers we’re looking for. One is incredibly simple and we can begin using the technique today- or more aptly put- tonight. The second takes a bit of practice, so while we’ll talk about both, we’ll concentrate on the first option in this writing.
Okay, here goes… When we have a problem that we haven’t yet been able to think through to a solution, we can try turning it over to our deeper mind, our subconscious mind. When we are about ready to go to sleep, we want to get into a very relaxed, sleepy state, calming all the muscles of our body. In that state we want to quietly, calmly, and lovingly present the problem to our deeper mind. We can be assured that the answer will come shortly, if we do this night by night.
Since we are assured the answer will come, (Remember the phrase, “Seek and ye shall find”?) we should at this point be thankful for the answer. That may seem odd to some people, but this is the correct way to do this. What happens when we are grateful in advance for what we are about to be given is that we demonstrate our faith that it will be given. There is no rule book for exactly how many nights this will take, but this simple formula will definitely deliver in the form of a gut feeling or hunch. We just need to be a little patient and not get disappointed, the answer will come at the right time. We should also be ready and willing to act on the answer we receive.
In our next issue we’ll discuss the other method we mentioned, but this one is so blessedly simple, anyone and everyone can do it. Won’t you try it tonight?
