Karma’s Getting a Bad Rap
It seems to us that most of the time when anyone is speaking about Karma, it’s in a negative sense. Have you noticed that? For these folks, Karma is the thing that happens to you when you intentionally hurt someone in some way. Conversely, The Law of Attraction seems to get most of the credit for things going right- that is, if we aren’t too busy patting ourselves on the back for that. We can be assured that whether we are being negatively governed individuals or positively charged ones that the law- whether we call it Karma or The Law of Attraction- will respond in kind.
Here’s the difficult part to understand and master on all of this: The path which the response will take to get to us often times seems completely unrelated. No matter what we call this law, it often works in such odd ways we don’t see it as having anything to do with the condition we are in deep down inside. Here are some of the other spoken acknowledgments we give it:
The Lord works in mysterious ways.
Everything happens for a reason.
It just fell out of the blue.
Everything just seemed to come together.
Exactly what we wanted just came out of nowhere.
It’s as if it were per-ordained.
She just got exactly what she deserved.
It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. (That one works sarcastically, too!)
I intended that to happen and it did.
It seemed to happen by fate.
We could probably think of others, but you get the idea. These are all hints of Karma or The Law of Attraction at work. We’d again like to underscore that the mode of compensation or retribution is seldom determined solely by the person or group involved. Often times these things happen from unexpected sources, often seeming to have nothing to do with the emotional vibration contained within. We can put our faith and trust in that the power exists, but it will assuredly work for us or against us depending upon the vibration we send out. Next time, let’s examine how to keep the good stuff coming. See you then!
